What we collect
Information you provide through volunteer signups, the contact form, and donations: name, email, phone (optional), postal code, availability, and any messages you send us. Donations also collect billing details processed by our third-party payment provider — we do not see or store payment card numbers.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry, coordinate volunteer activities, send updates if you've opted in, and meet our reporting obligations under Ontario campaign finance law.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with our payment processor (for donations), Elections Ontario or the City Clerk as required by law, and trusted service providers under confidentiality agreements.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails anytime, request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). Email hello@example.org.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS, encryption at rest, and access controls. Donations are processed via a PCI-compliant third party; we never store raw payment card data.
