Meet Mustafa Zuberi

A Guelphite by choice who has built a life here from the ground up, I am working alongside neighbours and community leaders to focus on what matters most: affordability, responsible growth, reliable public services and infrastructure, and a strong local economy that provides opportunities for all.

My story

I moved to Guelph as a child and quickly found a community where I'm proud to call home. I attended John F. Ross CVI and later the University of Guelph, where I built lasting friendships and a strong commitment to giving back.

Like you, I've walked our city's streets, taken the bus to school and work, and seen firsthand the everyday challenges people face. Those experiences shaped my belief in affordability, reliable infrastructure, responsible growth, and a city that listens.

Professionally, I've worked in customer service, administration, and most recently, financial planning in the insurance industry, where I learned to listen first, understand people's needs and deliver practical, results-driven solutions that help families make every dollar count.

I've also supported several local initiatives and volunteered in the community. Running to be your MPP last year gave me the chance to meet thousands of residents and hear their concerns directly.

Those conversations are why I'm stepping forward to serve Ward 1 with energy, accountability and a focus on real results.
